Tyler Wicks, D.C. : Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Tyler Wicks is a native of Columbia, Missouri and founded Columbia Family Chiropractic in 2007. He received his undergraduate education at Palmer College in Davenport IA and completed his chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2006.  Dr. Wicks has interests in orthopedic chiropractic care, metabolic disease, non-pharmacological health optimization, and nurtrigenomic.

In addition to his passion for Chiropractic, Dr. Wicks’ primary focus is his family, he and his wife Noelle have three children, Jack, June and Peyton. He and his family attend Forum Christian Church where he enjoys serving as a member of the missions committee.  His spare time is spent with his reading books, with particular interests in philosophy, theology, history, finance and nutrition. In all things, Dr. Wicks highest aim is to glorify God.                SDG

Thomas A. Wicks, PhD, DC, FIANM(US)

Dr. Thomas A. Wicks (Dr. Tom) is a native Missourian that has lived in the mid-west the majority of his life. He grew up in Joplin and moved to Columbia in the mid-seventies where he and his wife raised three children, one of which is Dr. Tyler Wicks. Dr. Tom has been in the healthcare field for over forty years, having been educated and trained in both the medical and chiropractic models. He holds degrees from Missouri Southern State University, University of Missouri, and  Palmer College. At Palmer College he was an Associate Professor for twenty-six years, retiring in 2020. In addition to teaching for the University of Missouri and Palmer College, he maintained a private chiropractic practice while in Iowa.

Dr. Tom’s practice has always focused on chiropractic care of the entire family, specializing in orthopedic problems of not only the upper and lower back, but extremities as well. Being board certified in chiropractic orthopedics has allowed him to provide care to a large range of patients, from infants to the elderly. He specializes in a variety of chiropractic adjusting techniques from manual adjusting to instrument based adjusting. He has treated patients with headaches, lower and upper back pain, disk issues, extremity problems, sports injuries, whiplash associated disorders (WAD), infantile colic, and problems in pregnancy among many other chiropractic problems.
